The Hawks invite unattached, OPEN runners to join the local collegiate institutions in the morning race - We LOVE happy spirits sharing the trails!

Entry DEADLINE is August 20, 2025 (to Bob Krug)
RACE DAY: Entry packets and information will be available at the finish line tent
AWARDS: First Place award to fastest male and female competitor
FACILITIES: Locker room/shower facilities are available
ATHLETIC TRAINER: a certified athletic trainer will be available at the finish line throughout the meet

Meghan Sorbera was a member of the women's cross country team her freshman year and she and Amanda Phillips are seen here sharing the trail together in 2007.
Meghan loved autumn and everything it had to offer: cool, crisp, changing colors and temperatures which made running fun. She loved the excitement of Halloween celebrations when she spent time with friends.
During her sophomore year at Hilbert, Meghan's life was tragically cut short as she and friends were walking back to campus from a late-night shift working at the 2008 Fright World Halloween celebration hosted at the Hamburg Fairgrounds.
As a way to honor her love for running and to celebrate her favorite time of the year, the Hilbert cross country program hosts its annual 'Meghan Memorial" race in the month of October.
